Summer Reading for Farmers

It’s summertime and the living is easy.

Hang in there: summer is just around the corner.

One more final effort before we can put aside the labours of study and homework for a while.

But whether in the mountains or under a beach umbrella, you can’t miss a book to keep us company for a few lazy hours between the chirping of cicadas and the 14th slice of watermelon.

To quote George R.R. Martin “A reader lives a thousand lives before he dies […]. The man who never reads lives only one”. Be curious, go and ride the Shai-Hulud with Fremen in Frank Herbert’s Dune, travel around Italy through the marvellous history of its typography with James Clough, and go and discover new life forms and alternative universes with Asimov.

Federico Trimeri is the H-FARM Librarian. He has a Master degree in Library Science and management and over 7 years of experience working in archives, public, academic, mobile and children’s libraries. He is a bookworm, in love with books, music that nobody listens to and the mountains.
